WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
The Director of Omnichannel Sales Enablement will be the go-to expert on Simpli.fi’s SEM and social media advertising capabilities. This individual will play a critical role in enabling our sales team to successfully package, sell, and position SEM and paid social media solutions alongside our programmatic offerings. They will also work closely with product, ad operations, and marketing to ensure our solutions are competitive, well-packaged, and positioned for growth.
As our customers seek to unify their paid media strategies, we are expanding our offering to include Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Social Media Advertising. We are looking for an Omnichannel Solutions Subject Matter Expert to help shape and drive this initiative forward.
You will engage with clients to understand their specific needs and work with the sales team to deliver personalized, data-driven advertising solutions that drive performance across multiple channels.
This role reports directly to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and will have high visibility across the organization, influencing sales strategy, training, product development, marketing messaging, and customer success efforts.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Serve as the primary subject matter expert for SEM and paid social media advertising within Simpli.fi’s sales organization.
- Partner with sales leadership to develop and deliver training on omnichannel advertising solutions, ensuring the sales team is equipped to pitch, position, and close SEM & social media deals.
- Join sales calls as an active participant in closing business, providing strategic guidance and pitching the value proposition of Simpli.fi’s omnichannel capabilities.
- Advise marketing and product teams on the competitive landscape, customer needs, and messaging required to position Simpli.fi effectively in the omnichannel space.
- Collaborate with ad operations to ensure successful campaign execution, troubleshooting, and customer satisfaction.Partner with VP of AOps-Omni to ensure seamless campaign execution, resolve any issues promptly, and drive customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive offerings, and industry developments to ensure Simpli.fi stays ahead in omnichannel advertising.
- Help prioritize which SEM and social platforms should be supported and sold first, ensuring alignment with customer demand and market trends.
- Play a key role in establishing and tracking KPIs that measure the success and future impact of omnichannel efforts.
YOU’LL HAVE THE FOLLOWING TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
- 5 years of advertising sales experience, with deep expertise in SEM (Google Ads) and paid social media advertising (Meta Ads required; additional platforms preferred, e.g., TikTok, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchat, etc.).
- Proven ability to sell, position, and consult on SEM and social media advertising solutions within an omnichannel strategy.
- Strong strategic thinking and consultative sales skills, with experience guiding sales teams and influencing cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience working in a reseller model for platforms like Google, Facebook, and others, with a clear understanding of pricing, packaging, and positioning challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to engage directly with clients, close deals, and drive revenue growth in digital advertising.
- Ability to influence and collaborate across sales, marketing, product, and ad operations teams.
- Deep understanding of digital advertising workflows, campaign optimization, reporting, and performance analysis.
