WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Simpli.fi is currently looking for a staff accountant to join the team in our Fort Worth, Texas location..
You’ll possess strong organization, communication, and analytical skills. Additionally, you’re looking for a career in a growing and fast-paced company.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Develop and maintain accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements
- Plan and organize accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes
- Maintain accurate and complete monthly billing cycle
- Ensure the accuracy of company AR aging
- New client credit review process, setup customer accounts, and maintain change requests
- Communicate timely and efficiently with our customers
- Liaison with our internal client success and sales teams
- Control and evaluate any policy, process/procedure or activity in the efficient production of financial statements and any related audit by any federal, state, or local authority
- Prepare general journal entries, financial analyses and reconciliations
- Ad hoc tasks as needed
YOU’LL HAVE THE FOLLOWING TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in accounting
- Proficiency in bookkeeping software
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Highly developed attention to detail
- Ability to analyze data
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong research skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
