WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: We are looking for an experienced BDR Director to build and lead a high-performance BDR team responsible for driving qualified meetings for our Sales Directors. This role will be instrumental in establishing best-in-class prospecting strategies, defining team performance standards, and ensuring tight alignment between Business Development and Field Sales.
This person will own the playbook, processes, and strategy for a scalable, repeatable, and predictable outbound motion. The ideal candidate is a data-driven leader with a proven track record of hiring, training, and developing high-performing BDR teams.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Build, manage, and scale a national team of BDRs focused on outbound prospecting and pipeline generation.
- Develop and enforce activity standards (calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, etc.) to optimize meeting generation.
- Define and implement best practices for outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and pipeline acceleration.
- Establish clear KPIs, activity benchmarks, and success metrics for the BDR team.
- Own BDR compensation models, incentive structures, and career development pathways.
- Provide leadership on the CRM (Salesforce) setup, data integrity, and workflow automation to support a high-performance team.
- Leverage data and analytics to measure success, optimize processes, and refine outreach strategies.
- Work closely with Sales Leadership to ensure smooth lead handoff and alignment with Sales Directors’ pipeline needs.
- 3 years of experience building, leading, and scaling SDR/BDR teams.
- Deep understanding of outbound sales motions, meeting setting strategies, and pipeline acceleration.
- Strong ability to establish KPIs, analyze performance, and optimize outreach methods.
- Experience with Salesforce, sales engagement platforms (SalesLoft, Outreach, etc.), and automation tools.
- Ability to define strategy while rolling up sleeves to execute, coach, and iterate.
- Track record of working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and RevOps teams.
- AdTech or SaaS Experience (Strongly Preferred but Not Required)
- Familiarity with B2B sales cycles, especially in digital advertising, programmatic, or marketing technology
