We're seeking a Sr. UX Content Designer to join our small, yet mighty UX Content team as its second member (within our larger Product UX Team). Using your proven expertise and razor-sharp content design skills, you'll help shape the discipline and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that make it easy for our customers to protect their homes.We are...

Plus, CNET, Wirecutter, and PCMag all named us their Editors' Choice for home security.What you'll do : Partner with UX Designers, UX Researchers, Product Managers, and Engineers to test, design, build, and launch top-notch mobile and web experiencesDeliver effective and engaging UX content and micro-content for SimpliSafe experiences-everything from onboarding and tutorials to error copyAudit in-app content, messaging, and communication for accuracy and consistencyDevelop a deep understanding of our customers and our hardwareAdvocate for how content can be used to build trust and relationships with usersEvolve content design patterns and devise new design patterns for in-app communicationContribute to and help maintain our Style GuideGrow the organization's content design skills and act as an ambassador for the UXC disciplineWork closely with other departments like Marketing and CX to keep messaging consistent and on-brandWhat you need for success : Top-notch communication skills and an editor's eye for grammarExpertise in content strategy, UX writing, and technical writingAbility to explain your rationale for content design decisionsA solid understanding of UX design principles and UX research best practicesAbility to support multiple squads and determine what needs to be done, why, and the best way to do itA nimble, no-ego working styleA knack for quickly understanding complex conceptsA passion for distilling complexity into simplicityA research-driven approach to content designA curious mindset and a willingness to ask "why"Good humor; our team takes our work seriously, but our ourselves lightlyExperience working with Figma, FigJam, Miro, JIRA, and content management systems, e.g. ContentfulRecommended : A bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Information Design, or a similar fieldExperience with accessibility, UX design systems, and agile developmentExperience with hardware, software, and service designWhat values you share : Customer obsessed :
