Summary
General Laborers work in various areas and perform a variety of jobs and tasks required to maintain smooth operation and to assist when specific needs arise. Don Plant has a need for temporary employees for our 2022 Summer Season and the Fall Turnaround. This job has a variety of duties and will plan to start in June/July and run through October.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean up duties – sweeping, picking up trash, and shoveling
- Safety watch for critical jobs being performed by operations and maintenance
- Assist with tools, equipment pick-ups throughout the plant and staging of equipment
- May operate a forklift or skid steer
- Pressure washing
- Work in confined (enclosed) space
- Other work as needed
Relevant Experience
- Must be able to work any shift (nights, day, weekends)
- May be required to work in full face respirator
- Must be safety conscious
- Must successfully pass all pre-employment test including physical, drug testing and background check
- Must have reliable transportation
Other Information
- Must have an acceptable safety record.
- Must have an acceptable attendance record.
- Must be able to work independently, with minimal supervision.
