Summary
The Shift Packaging Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all packaging operations during their assigned shift to ensure products are packed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with quality standards. This role requires leadership, organization, and a focus on achieving production goals while maintaining a safe and collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise Packaging Operations :
Manage and coordinate all activities of the packaging team during the shift.
- Ensure efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules.
Team Leadership :
Lead, train, and motivate team members to achieve performance and safety goals.
Quality Assurance :
Ensure all packaging activities meet established quality standards.
Safety and Compliance :
Enforce safety protocols and ensure a clean and hazard-free work environment.
Troubleshooting and Maintenance :
Identify and address issues with equipment or processes to minimize downtime.
Inventory and Reporting :
Monitor and manage packaging materials inventory during the shift.
Typical Education
Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university
