We are looking to expand our team and currently have an immediate opening for -

Security System Service Technician.

Experience:

*** In order to be considered, the candidate must have verifiable experience in the Intrusion Industry installing and servicing Alarm Panels & Systems, preferably with any of the following - Honeywell Vista Series, DSC & GE.***

• Proficient in prewire, trim and deployment of intrusion and camera systems in both residential and light commercial environments.
• Proficient in retrofit wiring in existing structures.
• Minimum two years experience with installation of Alarm Systems in residential and/or light commercial.
• Minimum one year surveillance camera/NVR experience.
• Card Access experience is a plus.
• Networking, AV, Integration experience is a plus
• Basic knowledge of and ability to operate hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of construction documentation and blueprint reading.
• Basic computer and smart phone skills needed.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Service existing systems. Diagnose, fix and or replace malfunctioning components.
• Trim & Deployment of Vista series alarm systems in both residential & commercial projects.
• Trim and deploy IP camera systems
• Occasional prewire work in new construction projects in support of our installation team
• Basic low voltage trim of cat5/6 and RG6
• Assist with other low voltage aspects of our business as needed.

Must be able to:

• Climb up and down ladders.
• Lift and/or move up to 80 pounds of equipment, to include extension ladder.
• Work in all weather conditions.
• Have strong customer service skills.
• Complete paperwork accurately and submit timely.
• Pass criminal background check and drug screen test.

Must Have:

• Valid Driver’s license & a safe driving record
• Commitment to safety
• Professional appearance and demeanor.

Compensation

Hourly Pay - Starting at $22.00 - $32.00 per hour, DOE

Bonuses at management discretion
