R&D Laboratory Technician- Simply Biotech

Immediate opening for an R&D Laboratory Technician with a biotech company in Garden Grove, CA who possesses:      
        

• BA/BS Degree in Sciences or HS Diploma with 2 years of clinical research or lab exp
• Ability to work in a Lab using GDP/GLP and prepare reagents
• New grad good with a lot of lab exp

FULL DESCRIPTION:   

The selected candidate will be responsible for:    

• Prepare reagents/solutions.
• Carry out maintenance of instruments.
• Prep racks, samples, and set up runs on instruments.
• Analyze and summarize results.
• Write reports/lab notebooks.
• Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
• Perform general lab organization and maintenance.
• Data entry and support of sample inventory management.

   
 The selected candidate will also possess:  

• High School Diploma with 2 years of clinical or research lab experience or AA Degree in a scientific discipline
• 1 year of clinical or research lab experience or Bachelor degree in a scientific discipline with laboratory experience gained through science courses.
• Reading, writing, proofreading and verbal communication skills
• Ability to interact well with other departments
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and detailed knowledge of managing data within Excel
• General understanding of good laboratory procedures and practices
• Ability to handle multiple assignments with efficiency
• Detail-oriented.
• Clinical or research lab experience

Salary Range: $25/hr
