Cleaner (Part Time)

Job Description:

Part-Time (12-25 hours per week); Weekdays; $17-20 per hour

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable residential cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring our clients' homes are clean, tidy, and comfortable spaces. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. For this position, we are looking for a cleaner who can work weekends and some weekday evenings.

Responsibilities:

• Perform cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and washing surfaces in all rooms of the house.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, and sinks.
• Clean kitchen areas, including countertops, sinks, appliances, and floors.
• Make beds and change linens as required.
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Organize and tidy up living spaces, including straightening up furniture and decluttering.
• Pay attention to special instructions or specific requests from clients regarding cleaning preferences.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good condition and adequately stocked.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for both yourself and the clients.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in residential cleaning or a similar role is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to complete cleaning assignments in a timely manner.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings. There will be opportunities to work weekdays as well.
• Reliable transportation to travel to and from client locations.
