Crew Leader/Supervisor

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Supervisor/Crew Leader for our paver restoration team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, hands-on experience in paver restoration, and a passion for outdoor work. In this role, you will not only lead a team but actively participate in all aspects of the restoration process. You will be responsible for supervising helpers, performing key restoration tasks, and ensuring the overall quality and efficiency of every project.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pre-Job Preparation: Ensure that the restoration truck is fully prepped and stocked with all necessary materials, tools, and equipment needed for the days job.
• Site Inspection: Conduct thorough on-site inspections to assess project needs, identify potential challenges, and ensure all safety protocols are in place before beginning work. Ensure photos of the job site prior to doing anything are inputted into the system
• Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of skilled laborers and helpers, providing clear instructions, delegating tasks, and ensuring effective communication throughout the project.
• Restoration Work: Oversee and actively participate in the paver restoration process, including cleaning, repairing, and sealing paver surfaces to meet the companys high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
• Problem Solving: Identify and address issues as they arise on-site, making adjustments to ensure the project stays on track and is completed to the highest standards.
• Job Completion & Cleanup: Ensure that all work is completed efficiently and within the designated timeframe, while also supervising the site cleanup and proper disposal of any waste materials.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety procedures and ensure all team members adhere to company policies and industry regulations, promoting a safe and productive work environment.
• Quality Control: Ensure all work is performed to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction, conducting final walkthroughs and touch-ups as necessary.
• Communication: Act as a liaison between the crew and office/owner, reporting project progress, customer feedback, and any issues that need to be addressed.

Skills

• Proven experience in paver restorations, repair, installation, masonry, and related fields.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively motivate and supervise a team.
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with paver work, including lifting, operating equipment and working in various weather conditions.
• Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.
• A valid, clean drivers license for transportation to job sites. A reliable form of transportation to get to the shop in the morning.
• Lead and supervise a team of 2-3 individuals in all aspects of Paver restorations including cleaning, joint sanding, sealing, and small repairs.
• Communicate instructions clearly and effectively to crew members, and office in order to keep efficient notes on process of job site.
• Communicate effectively with crew members to ensure smooth operations and clearly understand the project’s needs, goals, and responsibilities.
• Train and mentor team members to develop skills and enhance team performance.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Drive company vehicles and trailers as needed ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Follow and enforce safety policies and procedures related to equipment and projects.
• Perform safety checks on all equipment and vehicles before and after work, maintaining a clean and safe truck, yard/facility, and equipment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week

• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• Weekends as needed
