Lawn Care Field Operations Manager

Field Service Manager:

Simply Green Lawn Care: Due to ongoing growth, we have a full-time position available as a field service manager. Our customer service company provides lush green lawns and healthy trees and shrubs and mosquito control. We have a great team focused on delivering outstanding service. Job Duties Include (but not limited to)

· Work as part of our management team with business forecasts, budgets, and plans to ensure our company's and our team's healthy growth.

· ID turf types, turf disease, harmful insects, and environmental issues in our customer’s lawns.

· ID ornamental plants, diseases, harmful insects, and environmental issues in our customer’s landscapes.

· Manage, monitor, and optimize operations to achieve outstanding service to our customers, which results in excellent customer retention

· Ensure all direct reports follow all safety requirements, including pesticide-safe handling per the product labels and all safety requirements related to the operations of our trucks and equipment.

· Manage new employee recruiting, selection, and training.

· Work as part of the management team to develop our turfgrass and plant health care programs.

· Provide ongoing training, management, and performance evaluations of your direct reports.

· Must be able to diagnose turfgrass and ornamental issues and recommend solutions to our customers.

· Fleet management and DOT compliance ensure that our fleet projects a professional image.

Qualifications / Education:

· Positive attitude, eager to learn, team player able to multi-task

· Professional appearance.

· Two plus years of management experience, preferably in turf or landscape management.

· Computer proficiency, including Outlook, Microsoft Office, and our CRM software.

· Have and maintain a clean driving record! Georgia driver’s license.

· Must have or obtain and maintain the Ga within six months of employment Georgia Dept. of Ag pesticide applicator license category 24 and 41

· Must be able and willing to lift and carry 50lbs and work outdoors.

· Prefer degree in landscape management, horticulture, turfgrass management, or agronomy is preferred. Advanced experience/ knowledge instead of degree considered.

· Excellent base salary, depending on experience, ranges from $55,000 to $65,000.
