What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Worker position at SIMPLY PAK LLC?
Simply Pak LLC is a local distributor of foodservice packaging based out of Miami, FL. The company serves customers in many business-to-business market segments including restaurants, bakeries and hotels.
The Non-CDL Delivery Driver will be responsible for making 15-30 stops per day on a local route all while operating a box truck in a safe and defensive manner. The driver will utilize a pallet jack, dolly, and lift gate to off-load the merchandise and transport it to the customers. The schedule for this position is Monday through Saturday from 7:00am until finish. The schedule may change slightly due to operational needs.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck
- Load and unload cargo
- Properly track and document activity log
- Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
- Inspect truck before and after trip
Qualifications
- Lift gate experience
- 1 year of route delivery experience
- Communicate with customers with an outgoing attitude
- Manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
- Able to lift 50 pounds comfortably and unassisted
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be available for overtime and assist in the warehouse as needed
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to handle physical workload
