Must Haves:

Minimum: Graduate from an accredited Registered Professional Nurse Program.

Master’s degree in Nursing or a related field. License

Minimum: Current NYS license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse
Professional Certifications

Minimum: 3-4 years of RN experience in an Emergency Department.

At least one year of experience as a Nurse Manager
-
Minimum: BLS, ACLS, PALS (required during clinical orientation through RQI system).

Basic Coronary Care within six months of hire.

CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
-
TNCC certification within 18 months of hire.

Preferred: Certified Emergency Nurse within one year.

Moderate sedation competency (within six months of hire).

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Knowledge of management systems and processes.

Ability to establish effective work relationships and lead teams.
-
Analytical skills to assess needs and implement effective interventions.

Proficiency in project management and meeting organizational objectives.

Familiarity with The Joint Commission requirements.
- Computer literacy with word processing and spreadsheets.
- Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Meditech.
