Company Overview:
Simply Turf is a professional lawn care company servicing 1,500 clients across Northern Virginia. We currently offer lawn fertilization/weed control and we are expanding our services to include a dedicated lawn mowing division. We are seeking experienced lawn care professionals to join our team. We utilize brand-new Wright stand-on mowers, top-tier equipment, and industry-leading software to ensure efficiency and quality in our operations.

Position Summary:
The Residential Lawn Care Professional will be responsible for mowing, trimming, and maintaining residential properties to the highest standard. Candidates with experience in lawn fertilization and weed control will be considered for our fertilization department as well. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in either lawn fertilization or residential lawn mowing and be capable of completing up to 13 properties per day solo or up to 18 with a helper. This role also offers opportunities to learn about lawn fertilization and weed control, with the potential to earn a Registered Technician license with the State of Virginia.

Responsibilities:

• Operate Wright stand-on mowers, string trimmers, blowers, and other lawn care equipment
• Use ride-on Z-Spray LTS spreader/sprayers for fertilizer applications
• Perform mowing, trimming, and edging of residential lawns efficiently and professionally
• Transport and maintain equipment properly throughout the workday
• Follow daily route schedules using business software for optimized efficiency
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance on job sites
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition

Qualifications:

• Experience in residential lawn mowing or fertilization required
• Ability to complete up to 13 properties per day solo or up to 18 per day with a helper
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• (English and Spanish) preferred
• Willingness to learn lawn fertilization and weed control, with an opportunity to obtain a Registered Technician license

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
