Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our anesthesia team. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and have the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate the effectiveness of anesthesia interventions and assist in identifying alternative strategies.
- Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles across the lifespan, from neonates to geriatrics.
- Assess and interpret patient data, providing age-specific care in accordance with departmental policies and standards.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists and other team members to improve quality, safety, and cost control.
- Serve as a clinical mentor for Student Nurse Anesthetists.
Qualifications:
- Completed AANA-approved course in anesthesia.
- MSN/DNP degree or equivalent required.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse in Illinois.
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist or new graduate eligible for certification.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required.
