Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dialectical Behavior Therapist (DBT) to join our team at Nystrom & Associates. As a DBT Clinician, you will work alongside a team of experienced therapists to design and implement effective treatment plans for patients with complex mental health needs.
Main Responsibilities:
- Participate in a DBT Consultation team to ensure adherence to the DBT program's best practices
- Conduct comprehensive mental health diagnostic assessments for new patients
- Provide high-quality ongoing therapy sessions to patients
- Lead weekly DBT groups to promote skill-building and support
- Maintain accurate and organized electronic health records for outpatient clients
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
- Attend regular clinical staff meetings, including case reviews and peer discussions
Training and Support:
We offer comprehensive training and support to help you succeed in this role. This includes:
- FREE 5-Day DBT Foundational Training provided by Behavioral Tech, the leading training company for DBT certification
- Intensive 1:1 training with an experienced DBT Lead

Requirements:
- Mental Health Professional licensure (LMFT, LPCC, LICSW, or LP) as per Minnesota State Statute 245i.04.02 regulations
- Unrestricted license required; open to considering unlicensed candidates with relevant experience
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) experience preferred but not required
