What 's involved in this role :
We are looking for a HTST Operator in Lake Norden, South Dakota.
Pasteurize, standardize and condense milk in preparation for use in cheese production.
Monitor raw milk flow into balance tank, through pasteurizing heaters, through separators to separate cream from the milk, to evaporators for condensing and then ultimately to horizontal cheese vats for use in cheese production.
2 -2-3 schedule
12 hour shift : 6am-6pm, 6pm-6am rotating monthly between nights and days
1.50 night differential pay from the hours worked 6pm-6am
What you need to join our team :
Minimum three (3) years of related experience required .
Willingness to learn and work as a team
Ability to walk, stand, bend , and lift up to 50 lbs.
Communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing with colleagues.
Able to properly document information legibly onto log sheets.
Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, establish priorities, ability to multitask, and meet deadlines .
Equivalent combination of education and / or experience may be considered.
