Assist in the delivery process, including performing necessary procedures such as catheterization when required.
Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation throughout the labor and delivery process.
Participate in specimen collection processing as needed.
Educate patients on family planning options post-delivery.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and hospital policies.
Qualifications
Registered Nurse (RN) license required; BSN preferred.
Proven knowledge of physiology and medical terminology essential for patient care.
Experience in long-term care or home community care is advantageous.
Skills in specimen collection processing are a plus.
