Key Responsibilities of the MRI Technician :
Perform Diagnostic Scans : Conduct MRI scans as per physician orders, ensuring high-quality images.
Patient Positioning : Properly position patients for comfort and accuracy, explaining procedures to alleviate anxiety.
Administer Contrast Materials : Safely administer contrast agents and follow protocols when necessary.
Monitor Patient Vital Signs : Track and respond to patient vitals during scans, ready to act in emergencies.
Evaluate Image Quality : Assess images for clarity, accuracy, and diagnostic quality.
Equipment Maintenance : Operate and maintain MRI equipment, reporting malfunctions to appropriate departments.
Collaborate with Medical Teams : Work with radiologists and healthcare providers to support diagnoses and treatment plans.
Maintain Records : Keep accurate and detailed patient records, including protocols, dosage, and adverse reactions.

Requirements of the MRI Technician :
BLS Certification (required)
ARRT Certification (MR) (required)
2 years of MRI Technician experience in a clinical setting
