Position Overview
The Process Engineer position reports to the Manager of Quality, Training, and Process Engineering for the Arkansas Kraft Division. This person will provide support throughout the mill by collaborating with various parts of the organization to optimize process systems through improvement projects that enhance safety performance, reduce costs, raise quality, increase production efficiently, and minimize downtime.
This position will provide an accelerated development platform, exposure to a wide array of manufacturing processes, supplier development experience, customer service / technical service exposure, and a broad overview of career opportunities available within Green Bay Packaging.
Responsibilities
- Work in a team environment.
- Participate in group problem solving activities, statistical data analysis activities, and facilitate the establishment of operational best practices.
- Provide leadership to maintain and improve safe working conditions and maintaining good housekeeping practices.
- Identify and complete immediate, short-term projects while maintaining a focus on long-term initiatives that support the Mill's strategic vision.
- Participate in the development of operational training materials.
- Strive to maintain a knowledge base of the products, services, and capabilities of Green Bay Packaging.
