Simpson College seeks a highly qualified and experienced leader for the position of Director of Human Resources (HR). The HR Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources management, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, payroll, compliance, and professional development. The HR director is also responsible the College’s Title XI compliance.
Reporting to the Vice President for Business and Finance, this individual will work closely with college leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that align with our institutional mission and values. This position supervises the benefits manager and the payroll coordinator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all aspects of the employment lifecycle.
- Directs College wide compliance training.
- Develops and implements policies and procedures that support the mission of the College.
- Provides guidance and support to faculty and staff regarding HR-related concerns.
- Oversees bi-weekly and monthly payroll processes, benefits program and benefit annual renewals.
- Manages the College’s Title IX compliance.
- Serves on various campus committees.
- Plans and executes multiple College wide events.
