SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: We are seeking a skilled operator to oversee the efficient operation on assembly areas within a manufacturing environment. This key position is essential in guaranteeing that all components are assembled properly, fulfilling both quality and production standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Specific duties include, but are not limited, to the following:
- Equipment Operation Operate and oversee equipment in line with production schedules and specifications. Monitor equipment and processes to guarantee optimal performance and quality of output. Make necessary adjustments to machine and/or fixture settings to align with product specifications and production targets.
- Quality Control Conduct regular inspections and tests on products to ensure compliance with the required standards. Identify and resolve any product defects or discrepancies. Keep detailed records of quality control activities and results.
- Maintenance Perform routine maintenance on production equipment to ensure its continuous operation. Report any major repair needs to maintenance teams. Maintain a clean and organized work area to avoid interference and malfunctions with machines and/or fixtures.
- Safety and Compliance Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe workplace. Utilize personal protective equipment as required. Engage in safety training sessions and keep up to date on new safety regulations.
- Team Collaboration Work collaboratively with fellow operators and production staff to optimize workflow and meet production deadlines. Help in training new staff on equipment operation. Maintain open and effective communication with supervisors and team members about production challenges and potential improvements.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK: This is a Full-Time position with 40 hours per week expected. Must attend all mandatory meetings and participate in training.
TRAVEL: Travel is not required for this position.
