Job Title: Associate Attorney (Real Estate)
Salary: $150,000 - $180,000
Location: Manhattan, NY 🗽

With over 50 attorneys across multiple offices, their team is dedicated to meeting the needs of clients, from institutional lenders and developers to private investors and family-owned businesses. The collaborative and dynamic environment fosters professional growth and a commitment to client success.
This position offers a unique opportunity to work on sophisticated Real Estate finance matters, particularly agency lending transactions. The successful candidate will join a team renowned for its expertise in Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac financing programs. The candidate will be working four days a week in the Manhattan office and one day from home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent lenders in transactions involving agency financing, with a focus on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac programs.
- Draft, review, and negotiate loan documents and related agreements.
- Conduct due diligence, including title and survey review, zoning compliance, and property-level assessments.
- Collaborate with clients, agency counterparts, and third-party vendors to facilitate successful deal closings.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Real Estate financing / transactions
- Demonstrated expertise in Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac lending (desirable)
- NY admission (essential)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communicator with a client-focused approach and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Enthusiastic about sports (desirable for networking events)
