Job Title: Mid-Level Real Estate Associate
Location: Lower Manhattan, NY
Salary: $260,000 – $365,000
A Top 40 AM law firm with over 75 years of history, having a global presence, is seeking a mid-level associate to join its prestigious Real Estate Practice in their Manhattan office. This firm is known for representing the world’s most sophisticated clients across diverse industries, including top-tier financial institutions, multinational corporations, and governments. With offices in all major economic areas, the firm provides cutting-edge legal services on the most complex and high-profile matters.
This position will be joining a team of 17 Attorneys, ranging from Associates to Partners, reporting into their highly accomplished Managing Partner.
Responsibilities:
- Negotiation of joint ventures to acquire, finance, and develop office, retail, hotel, multifamily, and mixed-use properties
- Regular advising on both borrowers and lenders in mortgage and mezzanine financing transactions (including both securitized loans, balance sheet loans, bridge loans, and construction loans)
- Representing lenders and borrowers in the workout of financing structures, including mezzanine loan foreclosures.
- Handle complex, multi-party financing transactions and equity investments.
Qualifications:
- J.D. Graduating between 2019 & 2021 (3–5 years of experience) with experience in transactional commercial Real Estate.
- Expertise in complex financing transactions and equity investments.
- Admission to the New York Bar in good standing.
- Exceptional academic and professional credentials (Essential)
