A leading New York City law firm is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Attorney, with 6 years of Commercial Real Estate Landlord-Tenant litigation experience within Part 52 of the New York court system, to join their team. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside an award-winning partner, handling high-stakes commercial real estate litigation matters in the New York civil court system. As a firm, they are known for their expertise within Real Estate law, due to their strong reputation upheld by 40 years of operating, having over 50 Attorneys practicing law.
What you’ll be doing:
Represent Commercial Real Estate Landlords in complex litigation, including landlord-tenant disputes, contract enforcement, and property rights issues
Appear in New York civil courts, with a focus on Part 52 proceedings
Draft pleadings, motions, and legal briefs, and handle all phases of litigation from discovery through trial
Collaborate closely with an award-winning partner to develop effective case strategies
Provide expert legal advice to clients on commercial real estate litigation matters
What they need:
J.D. from an accredited law school & Admission to the New York State Bar
6 years of experience in Commercial Real estate Landlord-Tenant matters, with strong familiarity with the New York civil court system Part 52 procedures
Excellent oral and written advocacy skills
Ability to manage multiple cases and work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
