Job Title : Associate (Real Estate Finance)
Location : Manhattan, NY
Salary : $275,000 - $350,000
A well-regarded boutique law firm in New York City is seeking a mid-to-senior-level associate to join its dynamic real estate finance practice. This firm, with approximately 30 attorneys, is known for its sophisticated representation of lenders and investors in complex real estate transactions, including bridge lending, mezzanine financing, and structured finance.
This firm is making multiple hires across their Finance department, purely due to furthering their growth & capability requirement.
Key Responsibilities :
Represent lenders in negotiating and closing commercial real estate loans, including mortgage and mezzanine financing
Draft and review loan documents, inter creditor agreements, and other related financing instruments
Manage transactions from inception to closing, working closely with clients and counter parties
Provide strategic counsel on real estate finance structures and deal execution
Qualifications :
7 years of experience in real estate finance, within a law firm setting, focused on commercial Real Estate / Lender representation
Strong background in lender-side representation, including knowledge of commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS), mezzanine loans, and bridge lending
Ability to handle multiple transactions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Admitted to practice in NY
