Associate Attorney – Family Law

Location: Garden City, NY (Manhattan office)

About the Firm:

A well-respected family law firm with offices in Garden City and Manhattan. The firm specializes in matrimonial and family law, offering personalized solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of each case.

They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to ideally join their Garden City office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in family and matrimonial law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, and equitable distribution.
• Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, agreements, and correspondence.
• Handle court appearances, depositions, and mediations.
• Provide clients with sound legal advice and maintain excellent client communication throughout the legal process.
• Collaborate with partners and other team members to develop strategies tailored to each client’s needs.
• Conduct legal research to support case development and arguments.

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the New York State Bar.
• 1 years of experience in matrimonial or family law preferred.
• Strong legal writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• A client-focused approach with strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation:

• Salary range of $90,000–$120,000, commensurate with experience.
