Job Title: Associate Attorney (Real Estate Litigation)
Location: Manhattan, New York
Salary: $200,000 – $250,000
My client, a well-established Mid-Sized law firm based in Midtown Manhattan, are seeking experienced Commercial Litigation Associate. Looking for 3 to 7 years of experience, boasting 50 years of successful operation & growth, this is an exceptional opportunity to join one of the markets leading Real Estate law firms. This role will be working closely with Senior Partners at the firm. Recognised in 2025, by US News & World report, as one of the ‘Best companies to work for: Law Firms 2025.’
What you will be doing:
- Represent clients in complex commercial litigation, arbitration, mediation, and residential/commercial landlord-tenant disputes
- Draft legal pleadings, motions, and discovery documents
- Manage discovery processes, including e-discovery, and contribute to litigation strategy development
- Handle a variety of litigation tasks with a focus on real estate law
What they need:
- Experience dealing with complex litigation matters regarding Real Estate
- Strong writing and research skills, with a track record of producing clear, professional legal documents
- Knowledge of New York Civil Procedure and practical experience in courtroom appearances, motion practice, and managing discovery
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused setting
