Job Title: Senior Attorney
Location: Manhattan, NY
Salary: $200,00 - $350,000
Our client, with a combined 85 years of experience, is a newly established firm built on the career success of 6 Attorney’s. This firm has been built to specialize in guiding developers & owners through the complexities of Affordable Housing Real Estate.
They have led as developers counsel on transactions, in 30 states, nationwide. Closed a variety of Debt Structures with various Lenders (Short-Term Cash Backed, Freddie TEL, Fannie MTEB, Fannie Credit Enhancement, Rural Housing Loans, FHA Financing and others) while cultivating strong relationships with agencies, bond counsels, local councils and tax attorneys in each of those States.
This is an ideal opportunity, for someone skilled in the Affordable housing market looking for a more desirable work-life balance, where you will still be able to work on Big-Law and sophisticated work.
What’s on offer:
Competitive compensation ($200,000 - $350,000 - bonus scheme, benefits package)
1750 billable hour requirement
Flexible working & office-requirement being negotiable
No transferable book of business required (If book is present, consideration for Of Counsel / Partnership is on the table)
What they need:
J.D. (2015 – 2019) Admitted to practice law in NY (essential)
Experience representing owners/developers of multifamily rental real estate and
Previously played a key leadership role in complex property acquisitions/dispositions, joint ventures, development deals, and financing transactions
Ability to run deals independently, while being able to support deal team members
