We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawn Care Specialist to join our team. This role involves maintaining and enhancing the beauty of residential and commercial properties through various landscaping services. The Lawn Care Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that lawns, gardens, and outdoor spaces are healthy, attractive, and well-maintained.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular lawn care tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging to ensure a neat appearance.
- Maintain gardens by planting, weeding, mulching, and watering as needed.
- Provide tree care services such as pruning and health assessments.
- Conduct landscape maintenance activities to enhance the aesthetic appeal of properties.
- Operate and maintain various landscaping equipment and tools safely and effectively.
- Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access to properties.
- Build and install landscape features such as flower beds, pathways, or decorative elements.
- Monitor the health of plants and lawns, applying fertilizers or pest control treatments as necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in lawn care or landscaping is preferred but not required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge for operating and maintaining landscaping equipment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy materials and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Knowledge of groundskeeping techniques and best practices for lawn maintenance.
- Familiarity with garden care techniques including planting, pruning, and pest management is a plus.
- A valid driver's license may be required for transporting equipment between job sites.
