Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial construction, with a strong background in safety management.
- At least 5 years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously at various stages of construction.
- 5 years of field experience as a Construction Safety Consultant, working with General Contractors and Subcontractors.
- Experience working with Owner-Controlled Insurance Programs (OCIP).
- 2 years of experience in construction of educational projects within a campus environment.
- Extensive knowledge of modernization-type projects involving hazardous materials removal.
- Strong experience in incident and daily construction reporting, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to effectively communicate with owners, construction management staff, and contractor site management teams.
- Current OSHA 500 certification, First Aid/CPR/AED certification, and SMS or CHST certification from BCSP or NASP.
