Adjunct Instructor of Chemistry

The Science & Mathematics Department at Simpson University, Redding, CA, is seeking candidates to join the adjunct instructor pool for Chemistry for the 2023-2024 academic year. Currently, the department welcomes applications for instructors with the qualifications to teach introductory or general chemistry lecture and / or lab courses for our pre-nursing, biology, kinesiology, and engineering students. Note that an appointment in one semester is not a guarantee of an appointment in a subsequent semester. Minimum Qualifications : M.S. in Chemistry, or related field. Deliver courses in-person at the Redding campus. Utilize Canvas for course management and delivery of content. Work with a diverse student body population. Express an effusive Christian faith based in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Affirm the statement of faith of the Christian and Missionary Alliance. General Expectations : Personal relationship with Jesus, a vibrant Christian faith, and a commitment to Christian community; capable of sharing faith and engaging in conversations about Christ. Demonstrate Simpson University Values in the performance of all duties.
