The Faculty is responsible for teaching and related responsibilities in the School of Nursing and to assist with the direction, coordination, and overall management of the program. Qualifications : Minimum of Masters degree from an accredited college or university which includes course work in nursing, education, or administration Current active California RN license Current CPR certificate Minimum of at least one year experience teaching courses related to registered nursing or completion of a post-baccalaureate course which includes practice in teaching registered nursing Minimum of one years continuous full-time or its equivalent experience providing direct patient care as a registered nurse in the designated nursing area within the last five years Clinical Nursing experience preferred Demonstrated effective classroom skills Program administration, supervision or other administrative experience a plus Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Effective communication and interpersonal skills required General Expectations : Personal relationship with Jesus, a vibrant Christian faith, and a commitment to Christian community; capable of sharing faith and engaging in conversations about Christ.
