Digital Press Operator

Duties

• Operate and maintain printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials.
• Fabricate and assemble components as needed for press operations.
• Monitor print runs for quality control, making adjustments as necessary to maintain standards.
• Collaborate with the prepress team to ensure that all files are correctly set up for production.
• Utilize color management techniques to achieve accurate color reproduction.
• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist in graphic design tasks when required, contributing creative input for print advertising projects.
• Safely operate forklifts to transport materials and finished products within the facility.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Digital Press Operator or in a similar role within the printing industry.
• Strong knowledge of machining processes and equipment operation.
• Familiarity with typography principles and graphic design concepts is preferred.
• Experience with quality control measures in a production environment.
• Ability to manage color effectively through various printing techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
• Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary.
