Product Coordinator & Design Assistant

We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented Product Coordinator & Design Assistant to support our remodeling team. This hybrid role blends design documentation and product sourcing with behind-the-scenes support to help bring projects to life—on paper, in the showroom, and out in the field. This is a full-time, 40-hour/week position, but for the right candidate seeking reduced hours, a 30-hour/week schedule may be considered. It’s a great fit for someone who enjoys the mix of design, organization, and logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Procurement & Staging

• Order materials based on finalized selections and track delivery timelines.
• Maintain up-to-date records of product availability, lead times, and pricing.
• Stage and label products for each job to ensure smooth delivery and install.
• Coordinate returns, exchanges, and backorders.
• Occasionally assist with material pickups, deliveries, or vendor visits.
• Maintain an efficiency-minded approach and seek opportunities to streamline procurement and staging processes.

Design Support

• Assist interior designers with documenting and organizing client selections.
• Prepare and maintain detailed jobsite binders and design documentation.
• Label and manage physical samples for upcoming projects.
• Support visual tools such as mood boards, renderings, or presentations (experience with design software like Chief Architect or Canva is a plus).
• Help with product research and sourcing and pricing as needed.

Qualifications

• Education or experience in interior design, merchandising, or related field preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
• Familiarity with design or inventory software is a bonus (Chief Architect, Sortly, Excel, etc.).
• Great communicator who enjoys working on a team.
• Comfortable working in both office/studio settings and occasionally in the field.
