What are the responsibilities and job description for the BACA Saw Operator position at Sims-Lohman, Inc.?
Sims-Lohman is hiring a programable BACA Waterjet and Industrial Saw Operator with manufacturing experience at our granite fabrication facility in Crestview, Florida.
Responsibilities include:
- Operate Water Jet Saw fabrication machinery to cut granite and quartz counter tops.
- Operate overhead crane and occasionally use forklift to empty hopper
- Verify quality of finished countertops by inspecting them, comparing them to templates or measuring their dimensions
Qualifications:
- 1 years' experience operating manufacturing machinery such as CNC, industrial saws, and other equipment
- 1 years' experience using overhead cranes and forklifts; this is not a forklift position.
- Ability to read shop drawings and use a tape measure
- Ability to work with heavyweight
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen; No Background Check Required.
- Ability to work standard shift, and overtime as needed
