What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Operator position at Sims-Lohman, Inc.?
We are searching for a CNC Operator to add to our Gulf Coast facility located in Crestview, Florida.
Responsibilities include:
- Operate CNC fabrication machinery to finish edging and sink bowl cutouts on cut pieces prior to going to final fabrication.
- Operate overhead crane and occasionally use forklift to empty hopper
- Verify quality of finished countertops by inspecting them, comparing them to templates or measuring their dimensions
Qualifications
- 2 years' experience operating CNC; using one for granite and quartz is a plus.
- 2 years' experience using overhead cranes and forklifts
- Ability to read shop drawings and use a tape measure
- Ability to work with heavyweight
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to work second shift, and overtime as needed with some Saturdays
