Global Security Manager

Reporting to the Global Quality Director, the Global Security Manager provides management and administrative support for the SLS Corporate Security Management Programme, ensuring the effective delivery of the program to SLS Sites and Departments globally. This position would require traveling nationally and internationally. The successful candidate must commit to a specific level of certified security training as part of their job role.
The Global Security Manager is accountable for the development, implementation, operation, and continual improvement of the Sims Lifecycle Services Corporate Security Management Program. Ensuring the effective delivery of the program to SLS Sites and Departments globally. Security subject matter expert and point of contact, providing information, support, and guidance to internal and external stakeholders. The post will require travel regionally and internationally.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement policies and strategies for various operations and continual improvement of the company security management framework, associated policies protocols, and procedures.
- Oversee the operational, physical, procedural, technical, and personnel solutions required to meet the company's security strategy in line with evolving client expectations.
- Deliver the global standardization of security through the implementation of the company's security framework across all operation regions.
- Led security investigations and developed incident and emergency management and response plans.
- Manage the audit and review process of the company's security management framework at a regional, site, and department level.
- Promotes security culture across the company through the development and implementation of awareness programs.
- Manage security projects, monitor and assess security working practices, and utilize change management to ensure levels of effectiveness and compliance across all operational regions.
- Responsible for managing contracted security services (Access Control, CCTV, guarding, SOC monitoring, mobile response, maintenance).
- Conducts periodic reviews of security framework to ensure its appropriateness to company strategy, security policies, and procedures are relevant, coordinated, and effective.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Key Performance Indicators
- ISO 27001 – Maintain accreditation to ISO 27001 Information Security Management System, ensuring relevant controls are managed within the company Security Management Framework.
- Manage security risk assessments, controls, and countermeasures to mitigate threats to the business.
- Deliver global standardization of security across all operational regions.
- Ensure corporate security metrics are measured, and communicated and effectively monitor the security framework.

- Internal – Security Manager-NA, Site Management teams, SLS Global Security Forum.
- External – Clients, prospects, and third-party vendors.
Experience/Qualifications Required
- Minimum 7 years of corporate security management experience (including demonstrated leadership skills) within a Corporate Security Management environment. Multi-regional experience preferred.
- Degree in security management or risk management preferred.
- Accredited Security management qualifications, such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP).
- Through knowledge of security technology systems, such as Automated Access Control and CCTV, intrusion detection, and SOC monitoring.
- Understanding of the principles and guidelines of the following: ISO 27001:2022 Information Security, ISO 27002:2022, Information Security Controls, NIST cybersecurity framework, European General Data Protection Regulations (GOR), ISO 31000 International standard for Risk Management
- Knowledge of X Protect Milestone Systems video software and Lenel Access Control software preferred.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands
- Typical office environment with occasional warehouse, yard, and vendor/supplier locations.
- Corrected hearing and vision to normal range.
- Use of office equipment including computers, telephones, copiers, etc.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment such as a hard hat, safety shoes, safety glasses, earplugs, fitted dust mask, etc. as required.
- Must be able to take on new assignments as required, and work under deadlines with changing priorities.
- Travel, as required.
- Must be able to handle various situations as they arise professionally.
