Yard Supervisor

We are looking for a Supervisor to join our facility in Albany, NY. Must have the availability to work mornings and nights. Salaried position but weekend overtime paid.

Job Summary:

The Shift Supervisor oversees and coordinates the activities of workers engaged in operating machines that process (screen, sort, separate, and bale) recyclable materials.

Major Job Responsibilities:

· Observes sorting, equipment operation, processing, and packaging operations for conformance to the company’s specifications

· Review production schedules and confer with supervisor staff to plan shift operation

· Assign duties to workers according to production schedules and demonstrate safe and efficient use of equipment

· Inspect machinery and equipment to verify conformance to production standards; prepare time, attendance and production reports

· Run, schedule, and ensure all metrics are being met daily

· Delegate and monitor workers in the completion of tasks and schedules

· Lead process and/or quality teams in improving workflow and quality

· Perform other duties as assigned
