Job Description
As a Mid-Level Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and building advanced applications for the Android platform. You will serve as an Agile Scrum team member providing software development and maintenance for the delivery of releasable software. Additionally, you will actively support all aspects of the system development lifecycle (analysis, requirements definition, design, coding, development and unit testing, maintenance and preparing associated documentation) with an emphasis on software development.
Key Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline
• At least four (4) years of Python software development experience
• In-depth understanding of Android software and application development
• Ability to clearly and accurately document software source code, specifications, and manuals
• Modeling and/or simulations, interface coding, TCP/IP, and serial communications
• Ability to collaborate constructively and present overall results with other government and contractor personnel
• Ability to thrive in a flexible and dynamic work environment
• Willingness to travel to support test events in the field
• Agile/SCRUM experience
• Experience with Hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) and/or Software-in-the-loop (SWIL) testing
