We are seeking an experienced cybersecurity professional to join our team in support of the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) as an Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) or Information System Security Officer (ISSO).
Requirements
- DoD 8140 IAT Level III or IAM Level III certification
- In-depth understanding of computer security, military system specifications, and DoD cybersecurity policies
- Strong ability to communicate clearly and succinctly in written and oral presentations
Responsibilities
- Provide Information Systems Security Engineer/Officer (ISSE/ISSO) in support of Risk Management Framework (RMF) Authorization and other ISSE/ISSO responsibilities in accordance with applicable NSA, DoD, and DoN policies
- Perform annual security reviews
- Manage Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) entries and ensure vulnerabilities are properly tracked, mitigated, and resolved
- Plan and perform cybersecurity testing to assess security controls and record security control compliance status as required
- Conduct vulnerability and compliance management and scanning in support of continuous monitoring efforts
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Xacta experience is highly desirable
