Overview : SimVentions is seeking a proactive and insightful Financial Analyst with exceptional Excel capabilities to contribute to our government project. This full-time position is ideal for candidates with 4-7 years of experience in financial program planning and analysis. We value strong analytical skills along with excellent written and oral communication abilities.

Clearance : An Interim Secret Clearance is necessary for this position, and selected applicants will undergo a security investigation to meet eligibility requirements for classified information access. US Citizenship is a prerequisite for clearance.

Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 4-7 years of relevant experience in financial administration, budgeting, and program planning.
Educational qualifications may be adjusted for candidates with over 5 years of applicable work experience.
Strong understanding of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) process.
Experience in creating funding documents within N-ERP.
Familiarity with Navy programs (prioritized as follows) :
Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP)
Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW)
Computer Optimized Batch Reconciliation Application (COBRA)
Program Budget Information System (PBIS)
NAVSEA Enterprise Planning System (NEPS)
Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel, including proficiency in Lookup / Pivot Tables and data integration.
Knowledge of DOD and USN Policies and Procedures, with a focus on Navy Financial Systems and budgeting processes.
Ability to work independently without constant oversight.
Exceptional time management, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities :

Manage funding documents within the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning ERP, including creating, tracking, and reporting.

Use Procurement Business Intelligence Service (PBIS) and COBRA for financial analysis and reporting.

Prepare and distribute weekly summaries for ERP, showcasing active year funding.

Create funding documents using N-ERP.

Maintain and distribute financial trackers and reports.

Interface with customers for data entry into Task Planning Sheets (TPS) and manage task modifications in NEPS.

Monitor fiscal year allocation plans and execution reports.

Develop and edit PowerPoint briefings utilizing advanced Excel data.

Engage in planning meetings with government and business stakeholders.

Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Preferred Skills :

Experience supporting Business and Financial management for NAVSEA and the Naval Surface Warfare Dahlgren Division.

Education : A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.

Compensation : The projected annual compensation for this role ranges from $70,000 to $110,000, influenced by factors including experience, education, and applicable skills.
