We are seeking a skilled Tactical Communications Test Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of test and evaluation experience to join our dynamic team. This RF Test Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting projects through various testing phases including designing, planning, execution, analysis, and reporting, specifically for tactical communications systems. Applicants must have at least a Secret Clearance and be able to commute daily to the Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC PAC) in San Diego, CA.

Clearance : A Secret Clearance is required for this position. Candidates selected will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is necessary to obtain a clearance.

Requirements :

Fully Adjudicated Secret Clearance or higher
Live within commuting distance of San Diego, CA
3 years of hands-on Test and Evaluation (T&E) experience in preparing, maintaining, updating, and reviewing comprehensive test-related documentation for tactical communication systems.

Responsibilities :

Develop, update, and review all test documentation ensuring it meets specifications, performance requirements, and mandatory guidance for tactical communications systems.

Preferred Skills and Experience :

Current Top Secret (TS) or ability to obtain TS Clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)

Familiarity with Low Probability of Detection (LPD) and Low Probability of Intercept (LPI) waveforms along with anti-jam capabilities for tactical communication systems.

Education : A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited university in applied science, computing, engineering, mathematics, physics, information systems, or a related discipline is mandatory.

Compensation : Compensation at SimVentions is based on several factors, including experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, and alignment with our corporate compensation structure. The projected annual salary range for this position is $74,000 - $100,000 (USD), reflecting standard salary expectations and contributing to a comprehensive total compensation package.
