Travel : Travel is expected to be around 10%, primarily located in Moorestown, NJ.
Clearance : A Secret Clearance is required for this role. Applicants selected will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is mandatory for obtaining this clearance.
Requirements :
- Must be a United States Citizen.
- A minimum of 6 years of systems engineering experience in a Naval Combat Systems environment.
- Proven experience in analyzing functional and system-level requirements.
- Familiarity with complex systems spanning multiple baselines.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Responsibilities :
Identify integration issues and capability discrepancies within various baselines of combat systems.Collaborate with engineering teams to plan, design, and develop systems, ensuring the performance and compatibility of software and hardware.Engage in working groups and technical interchange meetings.Develop system and software architectures that facilitate coordination across military assets and integrated warfare systems.Provide systems engineering support for software applications that integrate with tactical systems.Conduct systems engineering analysis and documentation throughout design, development, and testing phases.Assist in the integration and testing of software applications with military simulations, virtualized environments, and operational systems.Evaluate software performance and features, document any issues, and contribute to ongoing design and development efforts.Preferred Skills and Experience :
Experience with Aegis or SSDS Combat System concepts, programs, and architectures.Familiarity with Combat System, Warfare System, or Element certification processes.Education : A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline is required.
Compensation : The salary for this position ranges from $110,000 to $140,000 based on various factors including experience, education, training, and security clearance.
