We are seeking a mid-level Systems Engineer to join our team and provide critical Systems Engineering support for Navy Integrated Combat Systems. Travel : 10%. Likely location of travel would be Moorestown, NJ.
Security Clearance : A Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.
Key Requirements :
- Must be a United States Citizen.
- Minimum of 6 years of systems engineering experience in a Naval Combat Systems environment.
- Proven experience in functional and system-level requirements analysis.
- Experience working with complex systems across multiple baselines.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with strong oral and written communication skills.
Responsibilities :
Identify integration issues and capability discrepancies across various combat system baselines.Work collaboratively with other engineering teams on planning, design, and development to enhance software and hardware performance and compatibility.Participate in working groups and technical interchange meetings.Develop system and software architectures to support coordination across military assets and integrated warfare systems.Offer systems engineering support for software applications integrated with tactical systems.Provide engineering analysis and documentation during system design, development, and testing phases.Support integration and testing of software applications within military simulations, virtualized environments, and operational systems.Analyze software performance and features, document issues, and assist in design and development efforts.Preferred Skills and Experience :
Familiarity with Aegis or SSDS Combat System concepts, programs, and architectures.Experience with Combat System, Warfare System, or Element certification processes.Education : A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline is required.
Compensation : $110,000 - $140,000. Compensation at SimVentions is based on various factors, including experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, and alignment with our corporate compensation plan.
