Overview : We are on the lookout for a talented and experienced User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) Developer to enhance our dynamic Development team. In this role, you will create engaging and seamless interactions between users and our digital products, along with documenting processes and instructions tailored to meet customer requirements.

Travel : Negligible

Clearance : An ACTIVE Secret Clearance is essential for this position. Selected applicants will undergo a security investigation and must be eligible for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.

Requirements :

US citizenship
Proficiency in Python and JavaScript
Experience in data visualization
Familiarity with Grafana, Angular, Dash, or similar libraries / applications
Experience with control interfaces and operational displays
Strong communication skills to convey design ideas to stakeholders and collaborate with development teams
Ability to identify user needs and design solutions for complex problems

Responsibilities :

Design and develop test harness workflows and user experiences (UX)

Design and develop intuitive user interfaces (UI)

Document use cases and processes

Ensure users can easily interact with the system and make informed decisions based on presentations

Advise teams on best practices consistently

Create user instructions for clarity

Engage with customers to understand needs and prioritize elements of workflows for various use cases

Preferred Skills and Experience :

Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field

Education : A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited institution in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is preferred.

Compensation : At SimVentions, compensation is influenced by various factors, including experience, education, security clearance, location, skills, and alignment with our compensation plan. The projected annual compensation range is $79,000 - $110,000 (USD) . This range reflects standard salary expectations for this role, forming one aspect of the total compensation package offered by SimVentions.
