As a Pet Groomer, you will play a vital role in enhancing the well-being of pets while providing exceptional service to their owners.

Responsibilities

• Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for various breeds of dogs and other pets.
• Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin to recommend appropriate grooming treatments.
• Maintain a clean and safe grooming environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding grooming services, pet behavior, and any concerns observed during grooming.
• Handle pets safely and compassionately, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process.
• Provide additional services such as dog training tips or advice on pet care as needed.
• Assist in managing the scheduling of appointments and maintaining accurate records of services provided.

Qualifications

• Must have 3 years experience in pet grooming or a related field.
• Knowledge of dog handling techniques and behavior is essential.
• Experience in kennel management or veterinary settings is a plus.
• Familiarity with equine care or veterinary technician skills is beneficial but not required.
• Ability to lift heavy pets safely and comfortably as needed during grooming sessions.
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with both pets and their owners.
• A genuine love for animals and commitment to their well-being is essential.
