Job Title: Agtek Take-off Technician
Job Summary:
The Agtek Take-Off Technician is responsible for performing accurate quantity take-offs and materials pricing. Must be able to review and understand all bid documents, bid forms, request for proposal, request for information, and assess project risks.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review quotes and estimates with the Project Management Team.
- Coordinate with Project Coordinators, Project Managers, and Superintendents throughout the project life cycle.
- Prepare “take-off” quantities to ensure the accuracy of data used in estimates.
- Review project plans, requirements, and specifications provided by Engineers during the bid invitation to meet and exceed the company standards for understanding bid invitations.
- Have demonstrated leadership abilities to coordinate with a team of Estimators to develop a large multidisciplinary estimate.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent, preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Agtek, and MS Office, required.
- Flexibility to effectively deal with changing priorities and timelines through analytical problem-solving.
- Occasional travel to job sites for pre-bid conferences required.
- Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
