General Summary
The Infection Control Practitioner, under the clinical direction of the Chair of the Infection Control Committee, is responsible for planning, directing, implementing and evaluating the Hospital-Wide Infection control program. Performing administrative duties required for effective program operations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
MINIMUM EDUCATION:
BSN, Medical Technologist or Bachelors Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Physics or Related Biological Sciences; Master's degree preferred.
MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:
5 or more years of clinical experience preferred and 2 years of experience in Infection Control or Public Health preferred
REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS:
Registered Nurse or MT (ASCP) in the State of Illinois preferred
