Job Summary
Operates radiological equipment to produce quality radiographs (x-rays) of the body for diagnostic purposes under the direction of a physician.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED :
Education and / or licensure requirements :
Licensed (or eligible)
- IDNS / IEMA, ARRT, CPR required.
- Registered (or eligible) by ARRT (RT,R) – required.
- CPR certification – Required.
- BCLS certification - Required
- ACLS certification – Preferred
- Compliant with PPD requirements
Experience :
Minimum two years experience as a Radiology Technologist.
Interpersonal Skills :
Ability to perform effective verbal communication.
Ability to work across all service lines and partner with key customers.
Develops strong rapport with Cardiologists, Radiologists and all patient care units
