System Sepsis/Stroke Coordinator
The System Stroke/Sepsis Coordinator works collaboratively with Nursing and Medical Directors to maintain Sinai Chicago in compliance with regulatory standards. Also, assists with providing guidance and direction that supports evidence-based care in accordance with Get with the Guidelines for Stroke and Surviving Sepsis Campaigns. The coordinator functions as a consultant to inpatient staff related to the care of the patients with Stroke or Sepsis.
MINIMUM EDUCATION:
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:
• 5 years nursing experience, either telemetry, ED or ICU
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
• Demonstrated teaching ability
• Communicates effectively with physicians, patients, families and staff
REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS:
• RN licensed in the state of Illinois
